A forest fire broke out today near Yeshivah Nachlas Haleviiim on Rechov Rus Hakohein in the Neve Shaanan section of Haifa.
The yeshivah was safely evacuated and the Sifrei Torah and Sifrei Neviim were removed from the aron kodesh and taken to a different location.
Firefighters battled the blaze and brought it under control a short while later.
Boruch Hashem, no one at the yeshiva was injured.
