Rav Ephraim Zev Garbuz, author of the Sdeh Ephraim, and son of the Minchas Avraham, Rav Avraham Noach Garbuz, was appointed to serve as the new rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Hanegev-Yeshiva S’char Sochir in Netivot.
Yesterday, Rav Garbuz delivered his very first shiur klali in the yeshiva. Great excitement gripped the yeshiva bochurim, as they filled the benches of the bais midrash, and together with the rabbeim of the yeshiva eagerly listened to the first shiur.
After the shiur, the yeshiva rabbeim, led by rosh yeshiva Rav Aryeh Leib Levy and Rav Garbuz, gathered at the home of the founding rosh yeshiva, Rav Yissochor Meir zt”l, for a lechayim.
