[Photos below.] One year after Yaakov Shwekey led a musical event that spawned the hit song “Vehi She’amda,” he returned to the city where that musical prerformace took place, Caesarea, Israel, for two events in two nights.
The Caesarea stadium, renowned as a venue for prominent musical performances, was packed with a crowd that saw 200 voices – adults and children – and 60 musicians join with Shwekey, Chazan Yitzchok Meir Helfgot and Chaim Yisrael for wonderful evenings of music and song. Baruch Levine and two of the Shapiro Brothers of Acheinu traveled from the United States to perform as well.

How is the daughter of the composer of v’he s’omdoh (Yonatan Razel?), anyone know?
Libi Bamizrach is an Amazing CD. The songs are beautiful and heilig. Another Masterpiece, Baruch Hashem.
He is the one. His concerts bring such chizuk, ahavah and rayoos to Eretz Yisroel. Go Shwekey go…
Is this the same place that some of the Asarah Harugei Malchus were killed?
Yaakov Shwekey working together with Yochi Briskman, in my opinion, is the best thing that ever happened to jewish music. One album after another including libi bamizrach are pure masterpieces. please post a release date for the returning to casaria dvd.
the choirs are great!
