This morning, a tractor fell off of its carrier truck in Modiin Illit, hitting several pedestrians, injuring them seriously.
Paramedics are joined by fire department and police personnel at the scene.
Six people were treated. One is in serious condition, one was hurt moderately, two were hurt lightly, and two were treated for shock.
Update: The incident took place on Rt. 446, near the entrance to Moshav Chashmonaim, between Maccabim and Modiin Illit, as the tractor fell off a moving vehicle onto a mother and her daughter.
Update: It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Mrs. Chana Geulah Dwek a”h, 53, of Kiryat Sefer, who passed away from her injuries sustained in this accident.
Mrs. Dwek, whose son just got married this week, was the wife of Rav Mayer Dwek.
Her four-year-old daughter suffered serious injuries and is in need of a refuah. All are asked to daven for Hadas bas Chana Geulah b’soch she’ar cholei Yisroel.
