[Photos below.] Agudath Israel of America’s Mission to Washington took place this past week with the participation of some 200 delegates from across the USA and Canada.
The day began at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, continued with a Luncheon at the US Senate, and culminated at the White House. The session at the White House took place in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, South Court Auditorium. Matt Nosanchuk, Associate Director of the White House Office of Public Engagement welcomed the group. Speakers included Prem Kumar, Senior Director for Middle East and Notth Africa, National Security Staff; Melissa Rogers, Special Assistant to the President and Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships; Ira Forman, Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism, State Department; and Secretary Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.
