Malaysian officials said Thursday that two more pieces of recovered debris are “almost certainly” from ill-fated Flight 370, more than two years after the plane vanished.

With the total number of recovered items now at five, authorities still have been unable to figure out what happened to the 239 passengers who were on board, and an underwater search of the Indian Ocean where the plane is believed to have gone down has not turned up any clues.

The two new pieces include an engine cowling piece and an interior panel piece from the cabin. They were recovered in South Africa and on Rodrigues Island, off Mauritius. Investigators are still trying to determine what exactly happened to the plane that disappeared on March 8, 2014, en route to Beijing from Kuala Lumpur. Read more HERE.
