Hundreds of religious Jews are often inconvenienced when planes land in Israel close to Shabbos forcing them to spend Shabbos at the airport or in nearby communities.
The Lod Municipality in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism is planning to build a small hotel close to the airport, and a half-hour walk from nearby Kfar Chabad.
