UK Prime Minister Theresa May is hosting her Israeli counterpart to mark the centenary of a British pledge that paved the way for Israel’s creation.

The two world leaders will attend a dinner honouring the Balfour Declaration of British support for a Jewish national home in Palestine.

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, a long-time critic of Israeli policy towards the Palestinians, declined an invitation to attend the dinner. He is sending shadow foreign secretary Emily Thornberry in his place. Read more at BBC.

  1. For the most part, the Brits seemed to have sided with the Fakestinians for nearly 100 years. But the Brits are now in for a difficult time, due to their growing Muslim population. You get served what you deserve.
