A 38-year old member of Neturei Karta radical group was detained by Israeli police after he met with a suspected Palestinian terrorist in Jenin last week.

His photograph with other members of his sect in Jenin, were spread on social media.

The police are investigating whether the group violated the law by entering Palestinian controlled areas of the West Bank.

Elchonon Lax, 38, from Petach Tikva, was detained on suspicion of “supporting and associating with a terror group” and illegally entering Area A of the West Bank, where Jenin is located. Israeli citizens are barred from entering Area A, as it is under the Palestinian Authority’s civilian and security control under the Oslo Accords.

Police said they are looking to arrest the other two men.

  1. Let him share a cell with one of his Hamas brothers, being provided with a prayer mat for his spiritual needs, glatt halal for physical sustenance, and a goat for happiness.
You never know, but with time, effort, and a good chavrusa, he may become able to learn a blatt Koran in the original, before the next Ramadan.

  2. This a case for psychiatrists and not the police.
They should not be sent to prison.
They should be incarcerated in a proper mental institution until cured.
    Pity them!
