Police: Thousands In Cash, Jewelry Stolen From Charles Rangel’s Harlem Apartment

New York – Thousands of dollars in cash and jewelry were stolen from Rep. Charles Rangel’s apartment in Harlem in an apparent burglary, CBS2 reports.

The Rangels found that $400 in cash from a bag inside the kitchen was missing, along with a $500 gold ring, a $5,000 string of pearls and a $9,000 diamond ring. The Rangels told police that neighbors and their cleaning service have keys to the apartment on 135th Street.
