Black Americans gave deeply pessimistic assessment of their place in the United States a Washington Post-Ipsos poll of African Americans nationwide shows, which reveals fears about whether their children will have a fair shot to succeed and a belief that white Americans don’t fully appreciate the discrimination that black people experience.

While personally optimistic about their own lives, black Americans today offer a bleaker view about their community as a whole. They also express determination to try to limit Trump to a single term in office.

More than 8 in 10 black Americans say they believe Trump is a racist and that he has made racism a bigger problem in the country. Nine in 10 disapprove of his job performance overall.

The pessimism goes well beyond assessments of the president. A 65% majority of African Americans say it is a “bad time” to be a black person in America. That view is widely shared by clear majorities of black adults across income, generational and political lines. By contrast, 77% of black Americans say it is a “good time” to be a white person, with a wide majority saying white people don’t understand the discrimination faced by black Americans.

  1. Who cares what they think, These thoughts are whipped up by racial hucksters like Sharpton and Jackson helped by the fake media in order to extort money from the white population of course for themselves.

  2. I am so impressed by Mr. Sharpton that I now drink Sharp’s beer. If he is so lucky to be alive, I am lucky to be sober. This ass war is trash wrought.

No more brash wages. The bad culture must stop war with Israel.

  3. After watching them blame the victims in the jersey city shooting, it’s just common sense that people will consider them racist. And rightfully so.

  4. The “polls” are “taken” from the few workers in the media studio. Only fools believe these made-up-nonsense lying “polls”.

  5. It’s amazing how Blacks all say the same thing but everyone here just dismisses it or blames it in other factors. We Jews love to bring up Anti-Semitism and the Holocaust as a way to explain certain behavior or to get treated a certain way.
But here’s a group of people that have been treated terribly in America, and you just brush it off. Imagine if you replaced Blacks with Jews?
When your parents went to the store they couldn’t try on the clothes, or they had to draw their feet on paper because they couldn’t try on shoes. Because they were Jews.
It’s been proven if you give your child a Jewish name, their resume is thrown out or placed at the bottom.
A new neighborhood was being developed but you couldn’t buy a house because your Jewish.
No matter how smart your kid is or how well he’s done in school, he can’t get into college only because he’s Jewish.
You want to buy a house which builds generational family and community wealth but your excluded from nice areas and banks won’t give you a mortgage in the Jewish area.
Jews were forced to attend terrible schools that were in disgusting buildings and used the Non-Jews discarded torn, worn out, outdated textbooks.
When you tried to get the right to vote, unlike other minorities that had been voting for hundreds of years. Jews that tried to vote or register people were lynched, hung, beaten, had their Shuls burnt down, had German Shepherds set on them, had bombs thrown into their kids choir practice, or had their houses fire-bombed. But, no-one cared until Non-Jews got killed doing it. Hmm..so when 2 Non-Jews get killed the whole country stops, but when dozens of Jews get killed doing the same thing, sometimes by their very own police, no-one cared.
When all you wanted was your kids to go to school like everyone else it was met with violence and when they finally got in they were constantly called “Kike” and “Jewboy” and no-one cared to stop it.
I could go on for hours. I’m not a progressive liberal by any means. But if you honestly looked at Black history in America and replaced Black with Jew, you’d be outraged. The Blacks certainly have major issues that need to be addressed. But to dismiss them as just “Oh, stop it” or “Stop blaming others” shows a total lack of understanding or Rachmunis.
How about Jews stop mentioning past Anti-Semitism, the Holocaust, and past victimization? Then we can start telling Blacks to stop talking about the past and present and why it plays a major role in who and where they are today.
