Poll: Less Than Majority Think Chauvin’s Guilty Of George Floyd’s Death

Less than a majority of respondents are so far convinced that former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin should be found guilty of killing George Floyd last Memorial Day, a Rasmussen Poll found.

The national phone and web survey found that 48% of likely U.S. voters said Chauvin should be found guilty in his trial, currently beginning its second week. Twenty-one percent disagreed, while 31% said they weren’t sure.

  1. This article is beyond foolish. The trial is being judged by a jury, not the public opinions of folks in the street. The trial includes the evidence and testimony, which is being placed and argued in front of the jury, not the public. I happen to be among those that believe that Chauvin is guilty, but perhaps not of murder. There may be other causes involved, and the reports from medical examiners here matter. I do not have the facts on which to judge, and nor does the public. Doing surveys is meaningless.

    The Doctor himself eho testified said he “Theorized” that it was lack of oxygen..
