Less than a majority of respondents are so far convinced that former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin should be found guilty of killing George Floyd last Memorial Day, a Rasmussen Poll found.
The national phone and web survey found that 48% of likely U.S. voters said Chauvin should be found guilty in his trial, currently beginning its second week. Twenty-one percent disagreed, while 31% said they weren’t sure.

This article is beyond foolish. The trial is being judged by a jury, not the public opinions of folks in the street. The trial includes the evidence and testimony, which is being placed and argued in front of the jury, not the public. I happen to be among those that believe that Chauvin is guilty, but perhaps not of murder. There may be other causes involved, and the reports from medical examiners here matter. I do not have the facts on which to judge, and nor does the public. Doing surveys is meaningless.
