A new survey released Monday night by Channel 14 indicates that the Israeli public is strongly backing the military campaign targeting Iran’s nuclear weapons program. The poll also reflects a surge in approval for how Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has been steering the war effort.

When respondents were asked, “What grade does Prime Minister Netanyahu deserve for his management of the war in Iran so far?” 61% rated his performance as “Excellent,” 19% selected “Good,” 8% responded with “Not good,” and 12% said “Poor.”

Another question posed to participants was: “Has your opinion of Prime Minister Netanyahu changed due to the war in Iran?” The majority—59%—said their opinion remained unchanged. Meanwhile, 37% said their view of him had improved, and only 4% reported a more negative opinion.

The survey also asked whether Israel should pursue regime change in Iran in addition to dismantling its nuclear and missile capabilities. An overwhelming 75% supported the idea, while 16% were opposed and 9% expressed no clear view.

Conducted by pollster Shlomo Filber on behalf of Channel 14, the poll surveyed 476 Israeli citizens on June 16, 2025. The results carry a margin of error of ±4.7% with a confidence level of 95%.
