A survey conducted by Mano Geva of the Midgam Institute for Israel’s Channel 2 a year after last year’s elections shows a meteoric rise for Yair Lapid and Yesh Atid.

The poll produced bad results for the prime minister, with Bibi Netanyahu not even mustering a Knesset majority if elections were held today.

– Likud: 26 seats compared to its current 30

– Yesh Atid: 19 compared to its current 11

– Zionist Union 18 compared to its current 24

– Joint Arab List: 13, which is what it has currently

-Bayit Yehudi: 11 compared to its current 8

-Yisrael Beytenu: 8 compared to its current 6

-Kulanu: 7 compared to its current 10

– Yahadut Hatorah: 7 compared to its current 6

-Shas: 6 compared to its current 7

Meretz: 5, which is what it has now

The current gov’t coalition is slim, a slim 61-seat margin. The poll showed the current coalition falling to 57.
