According to The Hill, a recent poll conducted by Harvard CAPS-Harris reveals that in a hypothetical 2024 presidential race, former President Donald Trump holds a 6-percentage point lead over President Joe Biden, despite Trump’s recent indictment on 37 felony counts linked to alleged mishandling of classified information.
The poll found that 45% of respondents would vote for Trump if the election were to take place today, while 39% would choose Biden. Among undecided voters, 15% remained uncertain or didn’t express a preference.
In response to the charges against him, Trump pleaded not guilty on Tuesday, dismissing them as “fake and fabricated.” He asserted his entitlement to possess the documents in question and called for the immediate dismissal of the case, claiming that the prosecution’s actions were detrimental to the country.
Mark Penn, co-director of the Harvard CAPS/Harris Poll, remarked to The Hill that the indictment has had no impact on Trump’s lead over Biden, whose job rating stands at 43%.
The poll also revealed that in a hypothetical matchup, more voters would support Florida Governor Ron DeSantis over Biden, with DeSantis securing 41% compared to Biden’s 40%.
The Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, conducted from June 14 to June 15, collected responses from 2,090 participants. The poll is a collaboration between the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and the Harris Poll.

First of all this poll is moot. There is no way Biden will be the candidate come election day. They can’t replace him now for two reasons One they don’t want Harris either.Second if the take out Biden now he will be more then a lame duck. Anything he says will be disregarded. The democrats are going to wait until they very last second to replace him. Any half decent democrat can probably beat Trump especially jf hes younger and charismatic.
And yet RFK jr leads both of them and you refuse to report that. RFK jr has a higher likeability rating than both of them as well. RFK jr WILL be the democrat nominee when it’s all said and done. The polls are concocted because they might need to continue with “Biden” if the draining of the swamp is not complete.
Interesting how every other day there’s another report of a poll with totally opposite results of the previous one.
