President Rivlin Says US Embassy Move Breaks ‘Diplomatic Blockade’ On Yerushalayim

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin declared in a speech Sunday that the “diplomatic blockade” on Yerushalayim has been broken as the United States prepares to open its new embassy in Yerushalayim on Monday.

Rivlin said he believes the move will pave the way for other countries to follow and move their own embassies from Israel’s commercial capital of Tel Aviv to the disputed ancient city.
