I think many of the signers of this letter did not intend for it to come out the week before the election but instead meant to thank President Trump back in June. They did not intend to get that publicly involved in the election.
Please revise this misleading headline. The letter does not say the Rabbis support the President’s reelection. To quote JPost, “the letter was not new; it had been written back in June, not to endorse Trump’s reelection but to thank him for designating religious services as essential when many states had barred or dramatically curtailed gatherings because of the pandemic.”
However, I’m glad it made President Trump happy. That’s a good thing.

Headline is misleading. The letter does not mention anything about supporting his re-election.
But, several times, it did wish him success, which, for him, certainly includes winning reelection.

But, several times, it did very heartedly wish him success, which, for him, certainly includes strongly winning reelection.
