Rafi G. of the Life in Israel blog shares that a pamphlet distributed to the bochurim in the Elon Moreh Yeshiva in Eretz Yisroel states that the talmidim should spray some deodorant on their hands before Pesach and taste it. If the taste is putrid, then the deodorant can be used on Pesach. The pamphlet can be seen below, with the deodorant segment highlighted:

Cuckoo.
Knock yourself out guys. I already have a psak on deodorant from my Rov, and it doesn’t involve tasting it.
eww!
All deoderants all Kosher for Pesach, I believe. Whoeever tastes their deoderant can be poisioned.
what in the world?? never heard of such a thing
lol this is funny. why not poison yourself at the same time.
this is going a little too far-don’t ya think?
Again: Cuckoo!
That pesak sounds like it came from someone who downed a couple cans before speaking. Although he would of only tasted it after paskening that so I’m not sure what happened to him.
mine actually tasted good!
To totally agree:
Dead.
This is the exact halacha for all ya clowns, if it is not ‘fit for a dogs food’ it is mutar.
Ya, how good should it taste in order for you to not be able to use it?
why are israeli Rabbis even giving a NEW Psak and not relying on what the american Rabbis have said years ago (and who would be more in the know about this)
