R’ Yitzy Follman z”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of R’ Yitzy Follman z”l of Lakewood, NJ. He was 51 years old.

R’ Yitzy grew up in Brooklyn and later settled in Lakewood, where he resided on West Kennedy Blvd. He was a mispallel of Bais Medrash Bais Mordechai on Heathwood Avenue, which is led by R’ Michoel Rotenberg.

He was a son of Rav Eliezer Dovid Follman zt”l, longtime rebbi at Yeshiva Torah Temimah in Brooklyn.

R’ Yitzy was a noted baal chesed, with a heart of gold, and a friend to so many people.

His petirah following a difficult illness has plunged his family and friends into mourning.

R’ Yitzy is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mindy (nee Jachimowitz) Follman, and their family.

The levayah will take place at Ateres Reva Hall on Summer Avenue at 5 p.m. Kevurah will follow at the bais hachaim in Deans, NJ.
