It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Hollander zt”l of Neve Yaakov.
Rabbi Hollander was one of the early talmidim of Telshe Yeshiva in Cleveland and a close talmid of the roshei yeshiva, Rav Elya Meir Bloch zt”l and Rav Mottel Katz zt”l.
Rabbi Hollander later served as the high school principal at Telshe. He also served as a rebbi at Hana Sacks High School for girls in Chicago and later was a rebbi at Yeshiva Bais Yisroel. He moved to Eretz Yisroel about 30 years ago.

Such a great person, I used to learn with him at 6am before Shacharis and then help him carry his seforim to Yeshiva. His clarity and true simple honesty is something that lives with me 10+ years on. He will be missed!
