It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Dr. Berel (Bernard) Rosensweig zt”l.
Rabbi Rosensweig was the longtime rov of Adath Yeshurun Kew Gardens Synagogue and professor in Yeshiva University.
Rabbi Rosensweig was a noted talmid chacham, beloved rav and popular professor of Jewish History. He combined wisdom and warmth, scholarship and a great sense of humor.
He was the father of Rabbi Michael Rosensweig, Rosh Kollel and Rosh Yeshiva in Yeshiva University, and Mr. Judah Rosensweig.
