rccsDear Matzav.com,

In reference to your Video-of-the-Day feature today on little Reuben Kirschner, I take pen (computer) in hand to beseech all of Matzav.com readers to say Tehillim every day, and be mispallel for, Reuvain ben Tova Chaya.

He is a brave little boy who, despite constant surgeries and treatments, goes to yeshiva almost every day with a smile plastered on his face. He is not “out-of-the-woods” yet, and you can help continue his “miracle” by forwarding his name to as many people as possible, to storm the Sha’arei Shomayim with our tefillos!

Reuvain’s parents just celebrated the first birthday of their twin boys, and they join me in thanking you for your compassion.

Only nachas and gezundt!

Rabbi Yosef C. Golding
Executive Director
Rofeh Cholim Cancer Society

  1. Dear Rabbi Golding, Mazav.com, and Klal Yisroel,

I have never expressed myself before in this manner but after reading this post I am completely inspired.
I just spent two hours on the phone with Doctors and Rabbanim deciding if we should begin a particular treatment or not. I am exhausted and a bit overwhelmed. I am meeting with another Doctor in an hour. I peeked at my computer screen on my way out of the Kollel and saw an email from a good friend – check out matzav.com.
Rabbi Golding, the entire burden of the past few hours has been lifted from me through your special message. Klal Yisroel, your constant care and concern for Reuven has given us all of the strength and encouragement to move on.

  3. I’m Reuven’s grandfather I wanted to thank you so much for this and especially Rabbi Yosef C. Golding and comapny. It means a lot to the whole family.

  4. As a person who has recovered completely from cancer having undergone chemotherapy and radiation – I categorically say that Tehillim is the cure. Also, if the patient is able to say Tehillim – he should have in mind another sick person.

  5. to the Kishner family may your son have a quik recovery, to Rabbi Golding thank you for all you do and i hope to greet you personaly next wednesday night at the flatbush dinner.
