It is with great sadness that we report the passing of noted askan Rabbi Yehudah Paley z”l at the age of 75.
Rabbi Paley was a founder of the Israeli Mishpacha magazine and also worked as a contractor, helping to build residential buildings and institutions in Yerushalayim in the chareidi sector.
In his youth, Rabbi Paley served as a military instructor in Tiveriah, where he was a ben bayis of the rov of the city, Rav Refoel Hakohen Kook.
Reb Yehudah is survived by his sons, Rav Hillel Paley, noted musical composer; Reb Eli, publisher of Mishpacha magazine; and Reb Yaakov.
The levaya was held on Erev Yom Kippur at the Shamgar funeral home in Yerushalayim, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.
