It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rabbi Yitzchok (Itchie) Lowenbraun z”l.
Former Regional Director of NCSY in Atlantic Seaboard Region, Rabbi Lowenbraun was the National Director of AJOP.
The levaya will be held today at noon at Martins West, located at 681 Dogwood Rd. in Baltimore, MD. The levayah can be viewed live HERE.
Rabbi Lowenbraun’s family will be sitting shivah at the Lowenbraun home starting Friday afternoon, April 30, through Wednesday, May 5, at 6305 Park Heights Ave. in Baltimore.

Rabbi Lowenbraun’s wife Miriam (Mimi) a”h was nifteres a number of years ago. She was the daughter of Rav Shloime Twersky ztvk”l of Denver.
R. Yitzchak and his wife were a major influence in the community.
What a tremendous Tzadik only matched with his heart of gold greater than most of us ever witnessed. A true torchbearer, the עמוד התווך of Klal Yisrael in our generation. What a loss for Klal Yisrael.
