Rabbonim Oppose Enlarging Of Hotel in Bayit Vegan

Yerushalayim’s planning and building committee rejected a plan to add 170 rooms to Bayit Vegan’s 280 rooms Shalom Hotel.

Led by Rav Azriel Auerbach, Bayit Vegan rabbonim were greatly concerned that more tourists in the neighborhood would reduce its tznius, and sent a letter to the committee stating it would be unsuitable for the neighborhood’s character.

    Yes! It’s not fair that Vegan’s get bigger hotels since the meat business in Israel is very important.
