rahm-emanuel-koselWhite House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was photographed as he appeared to shed a tear at the Kosel on Thursday. President Shimon Peres hosted Emanuel with his wife Amy and their children, Zach (13), Ilana (11) and Leah (10) in the Presidential Residence Thursday. Peres gave presents to Emanuel’s wife and children and taught Zach, who is in Israel to celebrate his bar mitzvah, a lesson about the parshas hashovuah.

Zach received a Kiddush cup and a gold-lined Tehillim with a personal dedication, while Amy, Ilana and Leah got small Tehillims with dedications and Presidential Residence pins. The children told the President that of all the things they did on their visit to Israel, they especially enjoyed flying in a military helicopter and experiencing an Air Force flight simulator at Chatzerim.

After taking the Emanuels on a tour of the Presidential Residence garden, the President held a 90 minute closed door working meeting with Emanuel. Several dozen activists shouted ‘traitor’ at Rahm Emanuel Thursday morning when he arrived near the Churvah Shul in the Old City of Yerushalayim.  Emanuel’s radical left views on Israel are seen as one of the sources for Obama’s pressure on Israel and hostile behavior to PM Netanyahu.

  1. Af Alpi Shechatah Yisrael Hu…..No true Jew has the right to call any Yid a traitor….

We need to rely ONLY on Avinu Shebashomayim…could you imagine people calling Queen Ester a traitor?

  2. He came to Israel with a wife who was not megayer k’halacha, publically ate trief, and desecrated Har HaBayis. Sounds like a traitor to me

  3. Emanual has a din of dan lekaf chov! He is a big phoney. Everything he does is calculated for political reasons. His boy is a goy. This whole Bar Mitzvah sham, was worthless.

  4. His wife is a goyah. Therefore, his kids are goyim, unless you want to say that Peres’s Davr Torah had the koach of milh, tevila and kabalas hamitzvos..

  5. he does have alot to cry about. I hope that the tears open up a keyli with which to do teshuva, HaShem Yerachem.
