Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence was found guilty Friday of 20 of 22 federal charges accusing him of manipulating the town’s books to get better rates on bonds to finance the town’s baseball stadium and other projects.
The 12-member jury returned guilty verdicts on 12 wire fraud counts, seven counts of securities fraud and one count of conspiracy. He was acquitted of one count of securities fraud and one count of wire fraud.
