It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Aharon Meir Kravitz zt”l, rosh kollel of Kollel Yotzei Chevron in Yerushalayim and a close talmid of Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv and other Gedolei Yisroel. He passed away overnight at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital following a brief illness. He was 68. His levayah will take place Tuesday afternoon.
Rav Kravitz was born in Bnei Brak on 22 Tishrei 5718 to his father, Rav Shaul Kravitz, one of the talmidim of Rav Elchonon Wasserman, a survivor of the great prewar generation and a devoted transmitter of Torah tradition who raised many students, and to his mother, Mrs. Bracha Kravitz.
As a bochur, he studied at Yeshivas Chevron in Yerushalayim. Upon reaching marriageable age, he married Mrs. Basya Kravitz, daughter of Rav Naftali Menachem Neustadt, mashgiach of Yeshivas Or Elchonon.
Together with his wife, Rav Kravitz built a home firmly rooted in Torah and yiras Shamayim. For fourteen years they awaited children, and were ultimately blessed with a single son, whom they named Shlomo Zalman after Rav Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Auerbach, with whom Rav Kravitz was personally close.
Rav Kravitz was a trusted confidant of Gedolei Yisroel and was among those welcomed into the homes of the Steipler Rav Yaakov Yisrael Kanievsky, author of Kehillos Yaakov; Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach; Rav Yosef Shalom Elyashiv; and Rav Don Segal. He enjoyed a special closeness with these Torah giants and later published a sefer containing guidance he personally heard from the Steipler Gaon.
In recent years, he served as rosh kollel of the Kollel Yotzei Chevron in Yerushalayim under the leadership of his father-in-law, Rav Naftali Neustadt.
Rav Kravitz is survived by his wife; his only son, Rav Shlomo Zalman Kravitz; six grandchildren; and a granddaughter who was born just one week ago.
The levayah will take place Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. from the Shamgar Funeral Home in Yerushalayim, with burial at Har HaMenuchos.
Yehi zichro boruch.

Thanks for the article. But one small correction his Shver’s Name is Harav Naftali Menachem Chodosh and not Harav Naftali Menachem Neustadt.
He married the daughter of Rav Naftali Chodosh (son of the Chevron Masgiach Rav Meir Chodosh)
His wife is Morah Batya, used to be the first grade teacher in Bais Yaakov Hatzafon in Sanhedria Murchevet, for those who know her from there. Very special woman.
