Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler Convalescing Following Stent Procedure

Rav Aryeh Malkiel Kotler, rosh yeshiva of Beth Medrash Govoha of Lakewood, is boruch Hashem in stable condition after undergoing a stent procedure Friday evening, leil Erev Pesach Shechal b’Shabbos.

As previously reported on Matzav.com, the top physician at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, was to be away this week and wished to perform the procedure. We are told that it was conducted uneventfully, boruch Hashem.

Performing the surgical procedure without delay was believed to be best for Rav Kotler’s long-term health.

It is not yet clear if Rav Kotler will be able to return to his hometown of Lakewood, NJ for the second days of Yom Tov. For now, he is convalescing at the clinic, which is known as one of the best hospitals in the nation.

All are asked to daven for Rav Aryeh Malkiel ben Rischel.
