Harav Asher Weiss, Rosh Kollel of Machon Minchas Osher L’Torah V’Horaah in Eretz Yisroel, will spend this Shabbos, Parshas Mishpatim, in the Los Angeles community. Rav Weiss will be a guest of Cong. Adas Torah and the Young Israel of Century City. He will speak tonight at Adas Torah between Kabbolas Shabbos and Maariv. Tomorrow he will speak at Young Israel of Century City. Rav Weiss will also highlight a special melava malka gathering tomorrow night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Millman.
Rav Weiss, who grew up in a Klausenberger family, is the author of the Minchas Osher, is an Av Beis Din, Rosh Kollel, posek, and is well known for his genuis and wide ranging yedios in Torah. Rav Weiss is well known for having traveled to the United States with Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman and the Gerrer Rebbe during their visit to the Unites States.
