shmuel-auerbach-19As reported previously by Matzav.com Israel, the Netzach party has pulled out of Israel’s upcoming elections, and Rav Shmuel Auerbach, who had guided Netzach, has called on all Yidden to vote for Yahadut Hatorah (UTJ), which is comprised of the Degel Hatorah and Agudas Yisroel factions.

The statement from Rav Auerbach, who met with various gedolim this past week, including, the Gerrer Rebbe, was published in all the chareidi publications in Eretz Yisroel, including Hapeles, which is published by the backers of Netzach.

Due to the serious threats facing Yahadus Hachareidus, said Rav Auerbach, a unified vote is more important than ever, hence the endorsement of UTJ and the need for all chareidim to vote in unison.

The numbers released by pollsters indicated that Netzach would not have garnered enough votes for even one Knesset seat, but it could have siphoned off enough votes from UTJ to cause that part to lose a Knesset seat.
