Gideon Sa’ar visited Shas Moetzet member Rav Shimon Badani this week in Bnei Brak. Rav Badani welcomed him warmly and asked the former minister, “When are you returning [to politics]? Am Yisroel needs you.”
During the conversation, Sa’ar asked Rav Badani some questions on the Rambam’s Hilchos Melachim, which he said he is currently learning.
Rav Badani’s request that Sa’ar return to the Knesset echoed the sentiments of Shas Nosi Rav Shalom Cohen during the shivah of his wife, Rebbanit Yael. He said then, “You helped us a lot. We are waiting for you to return.”
