Last month, Rav Nissim Karelitz and Rav Yehuda Silman stamped out fears that a mysterious cult was kidnapping children of Bnei Brak’s Mishkenot Yaakov neighborhood and explained that parent’s fears were based on senseless rumors that began in Yerushalayim’s Nachla’ot and Sanhedriah neighborhoods.

Kikar Shabbos reported that a similar rumor that began some time ago in Modi’in Illit was immediately quashed by Rav Chaim Kanievsky. In response to a query from the city’s rov, Rav Meir Kessler, Rav Chaim told him, “There’s nothing in it,” and, “it was all emptiness and stupidity,” and he “should calm down the public and tell them that it’s nothing.”

  1. Hard. Minus the wrong bed, our faith is with good hope.

A cult destroys. Watch that they do not mix their anger. That will never be kingdom one.

    Misunderstood given moons.
