Rav Chaim Stein Recalls Birchas Hachama of 1925

Last Wednesday, Erev Pesach, as Yidden all over the world gathered to recite the once-in-28-years bracha of Birchas Hachama, a gathering was held as well at the Telshe Yeshiva of Cleveland in Wickliffe, Ohio. Led by the rosh hayeshiva, Harav Chaim Stein shlit”a, a large crowd gathered outside to recite the bracha. Rav Chaim also addressed the gathering inside the Telsher bais medrash. During his remarks, the zekan roshei hayeshivos told the audience about previous Birchas Hachamas, recalling his attendance almost 85 years ago at the recital of Birchas Hachama three cycles ago in 1925.
