It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Chanoch Ben-Pazi zt”l, who passed away today at Shaarei Tzedek Hospital in Yerushalayim. He was 70 years old.
Rav Chanoch was the menahel of Yeshiva Pirchei Aharon in Kiryat Shmuel.
Rav Chanoch influenced generations of students, teaching thousands over decades.
After he retired, he moved to the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Yerushalayim, where he delivered the Daf Yomi shiur at Machon Meir.
Rav Chanoch is survived by his wife and six children.
The levayah was held on Motzoei Shabbos at the Shamgar Funeral Home, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.
