Rav Dovid Olewsky zt”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Dovid Shlomo Zalmen Olewsky zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivas Gur in Boro Park Brooklyn. He was in his 70s.

Rav Olewsky spent his life engaged in harbotzas haTorah, devoting himself to talmidim and others who sought his guidance. Rav Olewsky was an outstanding maggid shiur and a captivating darshan.

Rav Olewski had contracted the coronavirus and was niftar on Motzoei Shabbos.
