At an asifa for the new yeshiva of Rav Nosson Rotman, Rav Yehoshua Eichenstein, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Yad Aharon, issued a special call to mechanchim.
“Do not live with illusions!” said Rav Eichenstein. “You cannot do everything that you used to [in dealing with today’s bochurim]. You need to know each generation and understand what the boys’ nisyonos are today.”
The asifa was held at Bais Medrash Heichal Kadshecha in the Beit Vagan neighborhood of Yerushalayim.
The new yeshiva will open this coming Elul.
Rav Yosef Frank will serve as rosh yeshiva together with his brother-in-law, Rav Rotman.
“The nisyonos of the generation,” Rav Eichenstein told his audience, “are new nisyonos. Educators need to adapt to the problems of the generation, to raise and inspire the bochurim in Torah and yiras Shomayim according to their needs and according to their challenges.”

Rav Eichenstein Shlita is one of the biggest Tzaddikim and leaders in Eretz Yisroel. He shows true leadership in everything. More and more mosdos chinuch use him as their daas Torah. He is extremely yashrusdig and Emesdig and has Zero gaava. Everything he does is Lsheim Shamayim. He also has the sweetness of the Old fashioned american yeshiva taam combined with the real Eretz Yisroel Emes. Nice to see that those that one that doesnt look for the kavod is getting it a bit.
I agree. Any Baal habaas that owns a smartphone is a rasha mirusha, worse than Bilaam and Amaliek combined. Crime of the century. At least that’s what I was told.
