Rav Elya Kanerek, rosh hayeshiva of Yeshiva Ohr Hameir in Peekskill, NY, is currently in Los Angeles, California. Rav Kanarek will attend and speak at a reception this evening being held to benefit Yeshiva Ohr Hameir. The event, which will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Heshy Jacobs on June Street, is expected to draw former and current talmidim and parents of the yeshiva, as well as various rabbonim of the city.
