This evening, there will be an atzeres hesped l’illui nishmas Rav Moshe Chorev zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim, who passed away after the severe illness.

The present rosh yeshiva of Yeshivat Kasi Rachamim, Rav Meir Massuz, ordered a series of changes to be made to the ads that were published announcing the event.

Speakers will include Rav Mazuz, Rosh Yeshivat Porat Yosef Rav Moshe Tzedaka and Rav Yehoshua Cohen. The event will be held at Yeshivat Kisei Rachamim.

Rav Mazuz corrected the ads in his handwriting, ordering that the word “hagedolim” be deleted from the title “the gaonim hagedolim,” referring to the speakers. He also instructed the organizers to reduce the size of the font of the words “Maran Rosh Yeshiva.”

In addition, Rav Mazuz instructed that the title of “Maran” be added to Rav Moshe Tzedaka, to whom the title of “Harav Hagaon” was first given, while Rav Mazuz added the word “Habaki” to the noted gaon, Rav Yehoshua Cohen.

This piece is far from ridiculous – it shows that there is still an element of truth left in the world.

  2. THIS is how you report the Hesped of Gadol???? Shommu Shamayim!!!!

And by the way, it’s Tzadka, not Tzedakah.
