Rav Meir Mazuz, the 78-year-old rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Kisei Rachamim, was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday morning following a series of examinations.
On Monday evening, Rav Mazuz had been transported to the Mayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in Bnei Brak after experiencing discomfort.
Those close to Rav Mazuz ask that the public continue their tefillos for the recovery of Rav Meir Nissim ben Kamsana.
During his weekly shiur, Rav Mazuz candidly shared his ongoing struggles, expressing his wish that his talmidim never encounter such difficulties. He blessed them, saying, “May you be spared from experiencing these challenges.”
He further elaborated, “When I enter a shiur in the yeshiva, I am exhausted. However, within the shiur exists a newfound world, as if I have received a fresh soul, for the Torah brings immense joy. I endure hardships that I hope you will never encounter… When you engage in studying the Torah, it comes alive and infuses life within you.”
