Rav Meir Mazuz, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Kisei Rachamim, in a shmuess, he had sharp words for the current Israeli government.
“They are bad people. We are waiting for them to pass from this world,” he said, specifically highlighting Foreign Minister Yair Lapid and Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman and “all their friends.”
“They are traitors to their people. They despise their people. They’re actually worse than the Nazis. The Nazis loved their own people. These hate their people.”
Lieberman, in particular, has been slammed for allegedly looking the cut the government’s yeshiva budget by a third, from 1.2 billion shekel to 800 million shekel, and funding for the chareidi school system to 75% from 100%. He also wants to cut off daycare subsidies for those who learn Torah full-time.

I worry about the myriad of comments that are certain to spill in and flood the comments area. Let’s not forget two things:
1) to pass judgment on the Rav’s words without having heard all that he said is outright wrong and
2) He is a massive Rav in Yisroel and we, פשוטי עם should not be judging whether or not he was right. Although I will concede, on the surface, it seems like he made some outrageous comments and drew an outrageous comment, we are not to pass judgment. He is a massive Rav.
