It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing of Rav Meir Yehuda Halevi Wosner zt”l of Shikun Skver. He was 99.
Rav Wosner was extremely close to the admorim of Skver. For sixty years, he raised funds for the Skverer institutions and was a longtime baal kriah in the bais medrash in Shikun Skver.
He leaves behind noted children, including his son Rav Yochanan Segal Wosner, noted posek and author of Shu”t Chayei Halevi.
The levayah was held last night in Shikun Skver.
The Rebbe of Skver, who is currently in Malibu, California, instructed all Skverer Chassidim to pay a proper kavod acharon.
