This morning, congregants of the Agudath Israel of West Lawrence awoke to discover that the website that houses the Daf Yomi lessons of their Rabbi was hacked.
The shiurim that normally appear on the site were replaced by anti-Israel slogans.
The hacking occured on the day that Israel is celebrating its Independence Day. “Apparently, there is a concerted effort here to attack anything with the name Israel in it,” remarked a resident of Far Rockaway that listens to the recordings on the site.
Rav Moshe Brown is a noted talmid chochom and the rov of the Agudath Yisroel of West Lawrence, located in Far Rockaway, New York. He is a talmid of Rav Yaakov Yitzchok Ruderman of the Ner Yisroel Yeshiva in Baltimore.
It is expected that the site will be back on line later today.
