Rav Moshe Yehuda Wosner zt”l

It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Moshe Yehuda Wosner zt”l. He was 80 years old.

Rav Moshe Yehuda was a son of the Shevet Halevi, Rav Shmuel Halevi Wosner zt”l.

He became ill with the coronavirus and was hospitalized in very severe condition as doctors fought for his life. He was niftar this morning.

A son of Rav Shmuel and Rebbetzin Rivka Wosner, Rav Moshe Yehuda was a noted talmid chochom and baal chesed.

He leaves behind a wonderful family, including his son, Rav Avrohom Tzvi Wosner, rov of the Satmar kehillah in Monsey, as well as his brothers, Rav Chaim Meir Wosner, Rav Yaakov Bentzion Wosner, Rav Avrohom Eliyahu Wosner, Rav Mordechai Elimelech Wosner, and Rav Yosef Zvi Wosner.

The levayah will be held at 10 a.m. at the Keretirer Bais Medrash in Williamsburg, followed by kevurah at the Vizhnitzer Bais Hachaim in Monsey.
