It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the passing today of Rav Shlomo Yosef Blum zt”l of Arad, Israel. He was 52.

Rav Shlomo Yosef, a chossid of Ger, was a noted talmid chochom and boki, who authored the seforim Shoel K’inyan and was a member of the editorial board of the Yerushalmi Hamevoar.

Rav Shlomo Yosef was a son-in-law of the chairman of Agudas Yisroel, Rav Moshe Zev Feldman zt”l, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Sefas Emes.

Rav Shlomo Yosef leaves behind his wife, Rebbetzin Sarah, and ten children continuing in his ways.
