Rav Shmuel Auerbach, rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Maalos Hatorah and son of Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach zt”l, was hospitalized yesterday at Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center in southwest Yerushalayim.
Rav Auerbach was taken to the hospital during the afternoon after his temperature rose.
Following a series of tests, it was determined that Rav Auerbach has pneumonia.
Rav Auerbach is said to be in stable condition and is expected to return home once doctors have him on a medication regimen.
All are asked to daven for the complete recovery of Rav Shmuel ben Chaya Rivka, besoch shear cholei Yisroel.
