It is with great sadness that Matzav.com reports the petirah of Rav Shmuel Shmelke Pinter zt”l, rov of Khal Bikovsk. He was 75.
Rav Pinter became ill toward the end of Covid and had battled illness for the last couple of years.
Rav Pinter served as the rov for many years of Khal Bikvosk in Boro Park, and during the last years led his kehillah, Khal Bikovsk, at Yeshiva Bais Pinchos in Lakewood, which he founded and which is named in memory of his father zt”l.
Rav Pinter is survived by his wife, Rebbetzin Faigie Pinter, and a wonderful family of bnei and bnos Torah.
The levayah will take place today at 6 p.m. at Yeshiva Bais Pinchos, located at 1951 New Central Avenue in Lakewood, followed by kevurah at the Lakewood bais hachaim of off East 7th Street.
Yehi zichro boruch.

Wasn’t he the one who gave his front law away to Rav Landau’s Shul on Ave. L and east 9th when they had the fire? That was the famous temp shul with the fruit tree in the middle.
Yes he was. His shul was in Flatbush not bp

If I remember correct, he was Rav of Bikovsk Midwood/Flatbush (not as the article describes “BP”)
Yes. The Kollel/Shul is on East 9th between Avenue M and Roder. Hatzalah used to rent upstairs from the Kollel in the same building.
Pardon my ignorance. Was this the Rabbi Pinter from Camp Horim years ago?
