Rav Tzvi Tau, rosh yeshiva of the Har Hamor Yeshiva, has suggested that the recent wildfires in Los Angeles are a consequence of the city’s endorsement of the LGBT movement.
He explained, “America is giving us all of the post-modern culture,” adding that “America’s pride is Hollywood, thank G-d you haven’t heard of it.” He further criticized the moral decay stemming from Los Angeles, stating, “All of the impurity of America, that pollutes the entire world, comes from Los Angeles.”
Rav Tau elaborated on the impact of the local firefighting efforts, saying, “In Los Angeles there was a week of fires, entire neighborhoods of hundreds of thousands were burned there, and they did not succeed in extinguishing it because the firefighting was handed over to women.” He added that instead of focusing on battling the blaze, “Those same women busy themselves not with firefighting – they busy themselves with advancing the same gender relationships and so on, and the same-gender people – that is what they are busy with every day, from morning to night.” He also noted that “They painted all of their cars and firefighting equipment with these flags” and lamented, “At the end they said – there is no water. For entire days they did not extinguish the fires.”
The recent wildfire, which started north of Los Angeles, rapidly spread and forced the evacuation of tens of thousands of residents.

The palisade sages are from the big tzadikim that have given us the great gift of tumah known as the internet. The fire of tte Internet apparently is now consuming the land of palisade
The trolling troll was trolling like a troll – as he was ingesting tuma within himself.
The rabbi tauers (towers) above everyone. Kol gavoved sir.
So good to hear the truth spoken — and spoken so beautifully.
Southern California has been the center and promoter of tumah and to’eva for around a century.
Anyway, Sefer Ovadia predicts Esav burning in fire, and this decadent southern Californian culture represents the Esav ideal.
May Hashem please continue to protect Am Yisrael throughout the world.
Certainly sounds like a message from Hashem to us. What he says makes a lot of sense
Thanks, now tell me why the other terrible things in the word are happening
Smartphones are assur.
I happen to share the view that the roots of tumah are deep in that region, and that the devastation that befell that area is appropriate and well deserved. But I will not make such a public statement (I’m not a public figure, and the world doesn’t look to me for guidance). No, I haven’t a care for how the LBGT+ community feels. Let them feel offended. To observe these people getting punished also doesn’t bother me at all. My issue is that it takes Ruach Hakodesh to explain Hashem’s cheshbonos for how he rules the world. Of course, what this Rosh Hayeshiva said is rational, and might even be correct. I don’t think we should be considering ourselves as possessing the Divine knowledge.
We have probably heard lots of people trying to explain Hashem’s reasons for wars, the Holocaust, terror attacks, etc. It’s enough to say that we recognize there is Yad Hashem here. It may be tempting to state that we understand things, but we really do not know the infinitely complex and deep ways of HKB”H. A Rosh Hayeshiva should withhold such comments, as it would tempt talmidim to assume they could explain Darchei Hashem. That would be blasphemous.
