It is with great sadness that we report the passing of Rav Yeshayah Eliezer Yurowitz zt”l.
On Erev Shabbos, shortly before hadlokas neiros, Rav Yeshayah Eliezer Yurowitz, collapsed at the Toldos Aharon mikvah in Meah Shearim. Paramedics worked to revive him, to no avail, and he passed away. He was 66 years old.
As shkiah approached, Reb Bentzion Oiring and his son arranged for the niftar to be taken to the Shamgar funeral home. Reb Bentzion ensured that no autopsy would be required and the niftar was given proper kavod hameis.
Rav Yurowitz was a brother of Rav Yaakov Mendel Yurowitz, member of the Badatz of the Eidah Hachareidis.
The levayah was held last night at the Toldos Aharon Bais Medrash in Meah Shearim, followed by kevurah on Har Hazeisim.
